Past President Elizabeth Sharpe

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you of the sad passing of our 2006 President Elizabeth Sharpe on 05 May at the age of 91; my thanks to Past President Eileen for letting me know.

Elizabeth (whose christian name was actually Mary, which I didn't know until I read her death notice!) was President in my first bowling season, so one of the first people I encountered from the Executive team. She was a wonderfully warm and very gracious lady, always full of support and encouragement for every Suffolk Ladies player, and someone I will always remember with great fondness.

For those of you who would like to attend, Elizabeth's funeral service will be held at West Suffolk Crematorium, Abbey Chapel, on Wednesday, 11th June. 2025, at 11.30 a.m. No flowers. Any donations to East Anglian Air Ambulance please.
