Hertfordshire v Suffolk at East Bergholt

Suffolk started our third game on Saturday knowing a win would ensure league leaders status.

In a wonderful setting, East Bergholt had a well prepared green for competitive play and Suffolk took full advantage.

Two rinks from the start Suffolk raced into a commanding lead, which gave encouragement to the other 3 rinks, who all showed the travelling supporters what a good set of players we have in this ECL squad.

Top rink this week goes to the Cornard set of, Mark Wickenden, Gareth Lloyd, Kyle Leeks, Richard Leeder.

Winning on 4 rinks Suffolk 18 points Hertfordshire 2 points Shots 98 – 80 to Suffolk.

This moves Suffolk back to the top of the table and the win on the Executive rink keeps them in pole position on the Executive table
