Champions!

Suffolk travelled to Frinton on Sea for their final game of 2026 v Essex, as league leaders with the title firmly in their sights.

On a hot sunny day, a superb green, Suffolk were on the job without delay. 15 shots up after 5 ends, 41 shots up after 10 and finishing with a 55 shot victory.

Winning on 5 rinks showing a points victory of Essex 2 - Suffolk 18.  Shots Essex 79 – Suffolk 134.

News soon arrived that Bedfordshire had gained victory over our closest rivals Norfolk, which secured our League victory for 2026.

Our under 25 rink showed their normal determination and gained a 2 shot victory over a strong Essex set.  This ensured the Suffolk under 25 team won their League title in this inaugural year of competition.

Winning rink this week goes to the Executive rink of Ron Snell, David Jolly, David Walker and John Rednall.  46-12!

A big thank you to all our supporters for your presence at these games, it really does make a difference and it’s the same again next year please!
