As many of you will be aware, there has been a protracted ending to the EC League this season where we finished our campaign unbeaten and 19 points ahead of Hertfordshire on 01 July before they played their final game against Bedfordshire on Saturday. I will leave the result and summing up as given to the Suffolk squad by Team Manager Adrian Beecroft....
"Gentlemen I am disappointed to tell you our friends at Bedfordshire could not produce the result we required today when they played the final ECL game against Hertfordshire losing by 5 rinks to 1
This leaves Herts 2023 winners by 1 point.
Having won all 5 games I must congratulate you all for the commitment shown and gives us confidence to progress and to win this competition. There has been great team spirit throughout the 5 games and I am already looking forward to next year.
