Competition Portal Open for 2027

The Suffolk County BE Competition Portal is now open for 2027 competition entries!

As we look ahead to another exciting season of county and national competitions, we want to be transparent about entry fees and, importantly, highlight the work being done to keep costs down for our entrants.

Bowls England have increased their competition fees by £1.45 per person for 2027.

However, Suffolk County have been working hard to ensure our entrants do not have to absorb the full increase.

For the Men’s and Ladies competitions leading to Leamington, the entry fee will be increasing to £6.50 per person, with £5.50 going directly to Bowls England. This represents an increase of just £1 compared with last season, with Suffolk County absorbing the additional 45p.

COMPETITION ENTRY FEES BREAKDOWN

• Competitions leading to Leamington: £6.50 per person

• Domestic Competitions: £4 per person

• Men’s Cups: £12

• Ladies’ Cups: £10

• Junior Competitions: FREE

All domestic competitions and cups have remained the same price as 2026.

We believe it’s important to keep competitions as accessible and affordable as possible, allowing our bowlers to continue enjoying the opportunities to compete at county and national level. These efforts reflect the work happening behind the scenes to manage rising costs where we can and keep fees fair for our bowlers.

Whether you’re aiming for Leamington, competing for a County Title or looking to take part in your first competition, we’d love to see as many Suffolk bowlers as possible entering for 2027!
