Bryan Stannard

It is with great sadness that I share the news that Bryan, our former Greenkeeper and Honorary Life Member of Woodbridge Bowls Club, passed away peacefully last night.

You are probably aware that Bryan was widely respected across the Suffolk bowls community, not only as a fine player in his day, but also as a dedicated Greenkeeper who generously offered his knowledge to several clubs. For several years, he also served as a Suffolk County Green Inspector, a role he carried out with his usual quiet expertise and pride.

He will be greatly missed by many,
