Bert Edwards Champions - Haughley Playing Fields

A dominant day on the Framlingham Castle green saw Haughley Playing Field crowned Bert Edward’s champions on Sunday 30th August, completing an impressive double victory with confidence!

The morning semi-final against Borough of Eye saw Haughley produce a convincing all-round performance, securing victories on all three rinks to book their place in the afternoon final!

That momentum continued into the final against Lowestoft Railway, with Haughley in control from the opening ends.

Haughley led:

 22–10 after 7 ends

 39–15 after 11 ends

 48–27 after 15 ends

They remaining firmly in control, eventually completing a 58–35 victory and securing the Bert Edward’s title in convincing fashion.
