Mixed Over 60 Inter County Championship vs. Essex Match Report

Suffolk travelled to Braintree yesterday 14th July to play Essex in this National mixed competition. Having overcome Norfolk in the previous round, great expectations were circulating and Suffolk did not disappoint.

After 5 ends Suffolk were 10 shots to the good. A small pause with -2 after 10, +1 after 15 and +4 at 18 ends completed the victory.

A very good performance by all rinks competing against a strong Essex side.

The team, as always, were grateful for our travelling supporters, with scorer Richard Bodek keeping us all updated on scores throughout.

Northamptonshire next up on 4th August, with match arrangements published nearer the time.
