Middleton Cup vs. Cambridgeshire Team Selection

I have pleasure in announcing the team for our first Middleton Cup fixture, away to Cambridgeshire. The match will start at 11.00am and the venue is Girton Bowling Club, Wellbrook Way, Girton, Cambridge CB3 0FW

Last season, we beat Cambridgeshire soundly, defeated our near neighbours Norfolk and only narrowly lost to Essex on their own green. It is therefore exciting that we will have home green advantage against Essex this year. The selection also attempts to reward at least some of those who did well last year in Suffolk County competitions. I would therefore like to congratulate Dennis Andrews of Stanton, Adam Frost of Thurlton, and Ipswich Bowling Club’s David Andrews and Ryan Hard on being selected to make their debuts.
