The ladies Suffolk team travelled to Colchester West End BC to play their second game in the Johns Trophy East section. Following a comprehensive win over Norfolk Suffolk were determined to show Essex what they were capable of.
In 30 degree temperatures Suffolk started strongly despite a very challenging green.
The scores were very close throughout the game but unfortunately Suffolk narrowly lost by 7 shots overall to hand the win to Essex, well done to everyone who played, it was a great team performance.
However there is still all to play for. Although Cambridgeshire beat Norfolk, Suffolk are yet to play Cambridgeshire and a good win at Haughley BC on 12th July could see Suffolk top the league and go forward to the regional round on Saturday 9th August.
So come and support Suffolk against Cambridgeshire on 12th July and help them get to Leamington for the first time since 2013
