On Saturday 12th July Suffolk arrived at Haughley Playing Fields BC to take on Cambridgeshire, who arrived with an unbeaten record. Suffolk knew that if they

could win on 4 rinks and get the overall shots win too they would very likely top the group.

The green had been well prepared by the Haughley greenkeepers for which we thank them very much.

The Suffolk ladies put every effort in to the game and were ahead for most of the game, however despite a valiant effort in getting a 16 points to Cambridgeshire 6 win, ( shots 112-105) this was unfortunately not quite enough as only 3 rinks were won.

The team ( players and reserves) have been amazing throughout the campaign and Moira would like to thank each and everyone of you for your efforts.

Here’s to going one step further next season.
