Help Wanted

In an effort to cut down on some workload, I am looking for someone to assist with the County website with the view to eventually taking over as Webmaster.

Sadly, eighteen months ago the site's creator and administrator, Rhys Lee, suffered a stroke which has left him unable to continue in this role. I found this very sad as Rhys, himself a bowler, is a lovely person and was a pleasure to work with.

I took over looking after the site and, with the help of Dr. Google and also Adele Chaplin of Roundwood BC, gradually became more comfortable with maintaining and updating the website. However, I increasingly find that it is taking more time than I have available so I am looking for help.

The site is a Wix creation so suitable skills in this area would definitely be an advantage and I use GIMP ( GNU Image Manipulation Program) for blog header creation and photo-editing. Other image editing programmes could be used as long as they can output to JPG.

The workload tends to be "peaks and troughs" with highs around Inter-County Comps, Eastern Counties fixtures, the latter stages of the County competitions, etc. and really quiet during the close season.
