Suffolk v Essex ECL at Hadleigh BC 28th June 2025

Suffolk played their final game in the Eastern Counties League for 2025 at Hadleigh Bowls Club on Saturday 28th June.

Suffolk 14 points ahead of Norfolk but with a game in hand, knew only a good win would keep us in contention to retain the title.

In glorious sunshine and on a well prepared green the shot difference remained close throughout.

Suffolk achieved their win on three rinks and top rink went to Mark Wickenden, Gareth Lloyd, Joe Sims, Kyle Leeks, with an impressive 22 shot win.

With Norfolk also winning, the points difference show Suffolk 12 points ahead currently and we await the Norfolk v Cambridgeshire result – fingers crossed!
