Suffolk Defeated in Balcomb Regional Finals

Suffolk travelled to Wellingborough today for the Eastern Regional Finals of the Balcomb Trophy.

In very hot conditions we were challenged by 2 very strong Leicestershire rinks. With some excellent early bowling Suffolk looked in good form, and could easily have been ahead after 10 ends, but millimetre differences eluded us today and head scratching did not provide the answers we craved.

A good Suffolk performance and on another day the result could well have been in our favour. This time it was not to be
